27.4!!! That is LB's new weight. On January 5, 2015, he was 33 lbs. On June 5, 2015, he is 27.4. That's right - a 5.6 pound weight loss in 5 months. Unbelievable!! I bought a veterinary scale to weigh LB. Because of his weight, LB strains when I pick him up, so I wanted to make weighing him more comfortable. So, after much research, I bought a "660 lbs Veterinary Dog Scale with Stainless Steel Platform and Rubber Mat for Dog Cat Pet Alpaca Llama Sheep Fish." There is a picture of LB's scale at the bottom of this blog. Here is a link: LB's Scale To get LB on the scale, I lured him up with his food. Once he was on the scale, the reading was 27.4. LB continues to eat the "cat-kins" diet - no carbs. He eats only Fancy Feast wet food (the ones with no to low carbs). He is not allowed to eat dry food. He eats all he wants of the wet food, so he is not hungry or deprived. He does not beg for food as it is always available to him, and he loves his food. I am so excited by LB's progress.
